Whole Wheat Rolls

This is a no-frills "quick bread" that you can whip up in 20 minutes (of which 15 minutes are baking time). The resulting rolls are rather bland -- you'll probably want to put jam or jelly on them.

Preheat your oven to 475oF.

In a large bowl, mix the following dry ingredients (sifting them together if the flour is not pre-sifted):

Mix into a dough and knead it with a tablespoon or large serving spoon. It should not be necessary to knead the dough by hand.

Grease a cookie sheet. (Or, for easier cleanup, put aluminum foil over a cookie sheet and grease the foil.)

Divide the dough into about 12 globs and spoon them onto the cookie sheet or aluminum foil.

Bake at 475oF for 15 minutes.
